How does Sima work?
Sima is a cloud-based two-step access control system. Sima hardware mounts next to your doorframe and is easy to install. This plug-and-play device allows you to get things up and running quickly so you can get back to business.

How can I add a new user or facility?
Adding a new user is as easy as opening your Active Witness app and pressing “add.”
- Open your Active Witness App
- Click the “User” icon in the menu at the base of the page
- Press “Add” at the top of the navigation
- Fill in the criteria (name and email) and press “add”
Voila! In less than 60-seconds you have created a new user! Users will then be required to upload a selfie for two-factor authentication and are then fully enrolled. The same process works for adding new facilities and sensors just begin by clicking “facility” or “sensor on the main page of the app.
